This tour offers you
true meaning of adventure. Starting with hydrofoil trip
to Cat Ba Island, we have some time to enjoy the quiet
town with beautiful beaches, fine sea food and beer. The
next day is a big challenge since we trek through jungle
and have a chance to see the panorama of Halong Bay from
one of the mountain summits we would conquer during the
trek. After the trek we reach our deluxe junk and
prepare for great kayaking days ahead. As with our other
kayak tours, this tour offers flexibility in activity
levels while still combining the best of sea kayaking.
Designed with this in mind it is a good tour for both
novice and experienced kayaker alike with a little more
time to spare.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong
– Cat Ba ( L, D )
5.30 am:
Leave Hanoi for Hai Phong. Breakfast in Hai Phong. Take
1-hr hydrofoil to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival in Cat Ba
we check in hotel and spend the rest of the day to
explore the town or relax on Cat Co beaches. Overnight
on Cat Ba Island.

Day 2: Trek Cat Ba
National Park – Overnight on junk in Halong Bay ( B, L,
D )
Breakfast in the hotel before taking a beautiful bus
ride along the coast to reach Cat Ba national park.
Today we will have a long trek across dense jungle to
reach the peaceful village of Viet Hai. Short break at
Frog Lake. We will have lunch in a local house in Viet
Hai village. After lunch we walk to Viet Hai Quay for a
cruise on Lan Ha Bay. We will meet our overnight junk in
Halong Bay late afternoon. Dinner and overnight on the
junk.

Day 3: Kayaking Halong
Bay ( B, L, D )
After
breakfast on the junk we start paddling to Van Chai
Floating village and then continue paddling to Dark
Cave. Tide permitting, we explore this amazing cave by
kayak. The cave is a 200m long, dark tunnel thrusting
through a limestone mountain. The tunnel is the only
entry to a secluded and beautiful lagoon. Lunch on
support boat in front of the cave. After lunch we paddle
to Ba Trai Dao Lagoon, along a stunning and fairly rough
sea channel, to explore its beautiful beaches. Continue
paddling to Lan Ha Bay, which is smaller than Halong Bay
but much more interesting with lots of secluded beaches.
Cruise back to Halong Bay for dinner and overnight on
mother boat

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi
( B, L )
Breakfast on the junk and enjoy the sundeck of the junk
while she navigates amazing rock formations of Bai Tu
Long Bay to get back to Halong City. Lunch on the junk
before reach Halong Harbor for a drive back to Hanoi. On
the way back to Hanoi we will have a stop in Dong Trieu
Town for refreshment and visiting to a ceramic factory.
Trip completes in Hanoi.
