This tour offers you an opportunity to discover the must – see destinations in the north of Vietnam. Two days to relax and admire the beautiful Halong Bay – the world heritage site – and enjoy its seafood. Another two days to explore the mountainous area of Sapa – once was a French hill station, expose and get to know the local hill tribes. And one day to discover Hanoi, our thousand – year – old capital city.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong
Day 3: Halong – Hanoi – Lao Cai
Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa
Day 5: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi
Day 6: Hanoi – Departure

Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – Lao Cai ( D )

Our guide will meet you at Noi Bai airport and escort you to a hotel in the center of Hanoi. Check in and relax. Enjoy welcome dinner then get transferred to the railway station for a night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Day 2: Lao Cai- Sapa ( B, L, D )

You will arrive at Lao Cai at about 6.30. Short car trip to Sapa of about 40km from Lao Cai. Check in a hotel in Sapa. Relax or optional visit in the morning. Lunch. In the afternoon, 2 hours trekking to visit Catcat village, home of a Black H?mong hill tribe, which is just 7 km from Sapa town. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi ( B, L, D )

In the morning, take a Jeep trip to Lao Chai - Ta Van village, Home of Dzay and Black Mong hill tribes. While trekking around the village, meet and talk with local hill tribes to learn more about their daily life, customs and traditional habits. Optional visits around Sapa town or take a rest before taking car trip back to Lao Cai train station. Dinner. Get on the train return to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi- Ha Long Bay ( B, L, D )

5:30 our car will pick you up from train station. After breakfast, take a bath and relax at a small hotel for a while.
8:00 our car will drive you to Halong. 12h30: Welcome on board of Halong Boat and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Please into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grottos, go swimming or sunbathing.

 

Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at restaurant. If weather permits a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.

Day 5: Halong- Hanoi ( B, L, D )

7h30: Breakfast. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit. 9h30: Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Brunch onboard then get embarked and transferred back to Hanoi. Check in hotel. Water Puppet Show in early evening. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi - Departure ( B, L )

Breakfast. Pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh complex, One Pillar Pagoda and have lunch before the car takes you to airport for departure. Tour ends.
